GENERAL
Where can I use IsyPay?
You can receive payments throughout Mexico from any card issued anywhere in the world.

Can view a record of all my transactions?
On the administration panel you can see all transactions, the approved as well as rejected payments. You can see pending deposits and the entire history of payments made through your terminal.

Does it work for Civil Associations (ACs)?
Yes you can receive donations directly from your smartphone.

Does the cost of the package include the telephone or smartphone?
No, it doesn’t include the cellphone or smartphone. The package includes the IsyPay reader and the application that you can download free from App Store or Google Play.

Can I use the account I already have for crediting my sales?
You can use an existing account in your name or company if you are a Business Entity.


What are the cards participating in promotions of months without interes?
All credit cards except Banamex.

What is minimum amount for month without interest charges?

PRICING
How much commission do you charge?
3.50% + tax per successful transaction with credit or debit cards from Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

How much does IsyPay cost?
The device (reader) has an initial one-off cost of $500 pesos + tax + shipping, thereafter just the commission of 3.50% on Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Do you charge for chargebacks?
No, only the amount of the chargeback.

Is there any charge for the applications?
No, they are free and always will be.

PAYMENTS
When will I receive the income generated?
The money arrives in your account within a maximum of 2 working days for BANORTE accounts or 3 working days for other banks.

What are methods of payment for devices?
Credit card or bank transfer.

Where can I send the deposit receipt?
You can upload with your folio in Get it section page.

How can I purchase a device If I am already registered?
If you can't purchase inside register page, you can purchase with your folio in Get it section page.

CHARGEBACKS
I received notification of a chargeback. What does this mean?
A chargeback occurs when a purchaser doesn’t recognise a charge from his bank or card company. The bank usually asks why they don’t recognise the charge and the most common reasons are:

  • They didn’t buy the product or service
  • The product didn’t arrive or arrived damaged
  • The product wasn’t offered as advertised or as it should have been

Following a purchaser’s complaint, the banks don’t continue the investigation and request the money back. The situation may be resolved provided there was proof that the charge was made. IsyPay will provide you with all the information related to the chargeback in order to sort it out and will work hand in hand to ensure that the matter is resolved in the best possible way.

What is IsyPay’s internal process?

  • IsyPay receives notification of a chargeback and an email is sent automatically with the details.
  • The amount of the chargeback in question is retained from the next pending transfer to your account.
  • IsyPay will provide all the information so that the matter can be resolved. If you are successful, the money will be recredited to your account.


What should I do when there is a chargeback?
There are several options:

  • If you have the purchaser’s details, get in contact with him to find out the reasons for the chargeback. It’s possible and very probable that the purchaser simply doesn’t remember making the purchase. Contacting him may refresh his memory. He can then speak to his bank and cancel the chargeback.
  • You can dispute the chargeback by submitting all relevant information to soporte@isypay.com . Send all possible evidence that the product or service was successfully delivered within the terms agreed. The evidence may be subjective but you should submit:
    • Confirmation email from the customer
    • Signed service contract or document
    • Dispatch information, etc.

This information is important to support the charge. IsyPay will submit all this information to the bank and will inform you of the outcome. You can accept the chargeback and in effect return the amount of the transaction. This also happens in the event that you take no action regarding a chargeback request.


Is there a charge for the chargeback?
No. In the event that your dispute with the bank is unsuccesful, you will be charged the amount of the chargeback.


How can I avoid chargebacks?

  • Use a recognisable name for notifications and bank statement information.
  • We suggest the name of your shop or website.
  • Have a clear policy about claims and refunds.
  • In the case of products which are sent by post, clearly specify delivery and service times.
  • If possible obtain information from the purchaser so that you can remain in constant communication.
  • Provide contact details so that the purchaser can resolve any queries in time.
